content policy
Last updated 2026-09-04. One list for everything on doink: live video, chat, clips, profile pages, emotes and comments.
not allowed
- Anything illegal where you are or in the UK.
- Any sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises a minor.
- Pornography and sexually explicit content.
- Real violence, gore, threats or encouragement of violence against anyone.
- Harassment, hate and abuse aimed at a person or a group, including in chat and in emotes.
- Sharing someone's private information (address, phone number, private accounts) without their consent.
- Spam, scams, phishing, malware and links to them.
- Pretending to be another person, brand or organisation.
- Other people's work without the right to use it. See the copyright policy.
- Getting around a ban or a timeout with another account.
live video and clips
- The same list applies live. A stream that breaks it can be ended by us at any moment, and the clips from it removed.
- Music you play on stream is your responsibility. We do not license music for you. Rights holders' takedowns are honoured and repeat problems end in suspension.
chat
- Chat is public and permanent: every message is kept in the channel's log with your username, which anyone can read.
- Channel owners and their moderators can remove messages, time out and ban people in their own chat. Staff may ban site-wide.
reporting
Email report@doink.tv with the link to the content and a line about what is wrong. A person reads every report. For copyright use the copyright policy.
what happens
Depending on how bad it is: the content is removed, you get a warning, features are restricted, the account is suspended, or the account is deleted. Repeat offenders are removed. All decisions are up to doink staff's discretion. If you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice or email appeal@doink.tv .
