terms of service
Last updated 2026-10-05. These terms cover everything under doink.tv . The content policy, copyright policy and privacy policy are part of them.
who is doink?
doink.tv is run by Doink Ltd, based in the United Kingdom. It is free to use, with optional paid subscriptions for additional features.
Your Account
- You must be at least 13, or older if your country sets a higher minimum for online accounts.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in methods and your stream key to yourself: what happens under your account is on you.
- Your username is your public name everywhere on doink. We may reclaim a username that impersonates someone (even unknowingly) or breaks the content policy.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page. That removes everything listed in the privacy policy, right away.
your content
- You own what you stream. You are responsible for having the rights to it, music included.
- By putting content on doink you give us permission to store it, process it (resize, transcode, thumbnail), show it to viewers and distribute it through our infrastructure, for as long as it is on the service.
- Live stream media is deleted automatically after about a day.
- Approved emotes you upload stay in the public library even if you delete your account, with your name removed.
rules
- Follow the content policy. It is the whole list of what is not allowed.
- Do not attack, overload, scrape at scale or try to get around the access controls of the service, and do not use it to distribute malware.
- Do not use doink to do anything illegal where you are or in the UK.
moderation
We can remove content, end a live stream, restrict features, suspend or delete an account when these terms or the content policy are broken, with or without notice, up to our own discretion. Channel owners and their moderators run their own chat and are encouraged to uphold doink's terms and policies, but are not terminally responsible for their chatters' conduct. If you think we got something wrong, email appeal@doink.tv or report@doink.tv and a person will look at it.
paid tiers
The free tier is the service. Paid subscription tiers increase limits and offer additional features; their price and what they include are shown where you buy them. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Refunds follow the law where you live; beyond that they are at our discretion. Paying does not exempt anyone from the rules.
no promises
- doink is provided as is, with no guarantee of uptime, availability or that anything will keep working the way it does today. Features change and can be removed. The whole service could shut down; we would try to give notice.
- Media has no backups: deleted is deleted, and an outage can lose live media. Keep your own copies of anything you care about.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using doink, from content other people put on it, or from it being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
changes and law
When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Keeping an account after a change means you accept it; for a big change we will say so on the site. These terms are governed by UK law.
