copyright policy

Last updated 2026-09-04. We respect other people's work and expect the same from everyone on doink. This is how a copyright complaint works here.

reporting infringement

If you own a copyright and something on doink.tv infringes it, email copyright@doink.tv with:

Valid notices are actioned promptly: the content is removed or hidden and the account that posted it is told why, with a copy of the notice. Please check it is not fair use or fair dealing before filing; knowingly false notices are your liability.

emotes: creator claims

Emotes are small and mostly made by individual artists, so there is a simpler route than a formal notice. If someone uploaded your art to the emote library, you do not need a lawyer, a postal address or a statement under penalty of perjury:

We side with artists when the evidence is reasonable. Claims made in bad faith count against your account like a false notice does.

counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to the removal notice (or email copyright@doink.tv) with the link, why you believe it was removed in error, your contact details and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live. We pass the counter-notice to the person who complained. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have taken it to court, we may restore the content.

repeat infringers

Accounts that keep infringing lose the ability to upload and keep clips, and then the account. Live streams can be ended on the spot.

music

Music on stream is the streamer's responsibility. We do not hold music licences for you. Takedowns for music are handled exactly like any other notice above.

our content

The doink name, the goblin and the site design are ours. Everything users put on doink belongs to them, under the licence in the terms.
